Mile 0-185, December 10-12
And so it starts - The movers arrived at 9 am Monday the 11th and had the whole house loaded on the truck by 1 pm. I finished tidying up and loading the car by 3 pm. I gave my neighbor Dorcie a hug for being a great neighbor and cat sitter and I was off! I drove to Clovis to Steve and Carolyn's house and was in time for a dinner gathering with some of the Happy Campers. Tuesday we ran errands, and met up with more friends for the annual Christmas Tree Lane walk in Fresno. What a treat to get to see the camping friends and a couple DFG friends I did not think I'd get to say goodbye to! Wednesday afternoon and we're officially starting the girls road trip - off to Patty's house in Bakersfield ...

Oh! Two Beep Beeps and off they go at 3:45pm. I'm watching them drive down the street from my window. The kids and I are really going to miss you Carolyn!!!!

The boys and I will miss you like crazy, but not as much as Steve will. I hear rumors about bathtubs surrounded by empty beer bottles.

I'm so glad you put together the blog so I cn live vicariously through you as you adventure. Having done a couple of shorter travels with you I know how much fun it is and know you'll have an awesome time.

Well, Chewie and Hoover are a bit confused. Both are pretty unwilling to let me out of their sight.
I thought Chewie was already on a hunger strike, but she ate both her dinner and her breakfast this morning.
